The plaintiff in error, Wilbur L. Riley (hereinafter defendant), was convicted January 31, 1969, following his plea of nolo contendere of the crime of prison escape, sec. 946.42 (3) (a), Stats. He was sentenced the same day to a term of four years in the Wisconsin State Prison to be served consecutive to any prior sentences. In an order filed July 30, 1969, the trial court denied defendants motion to vacate the sentence. These writs of error are prosecuted to review the sentence imposed.
