Shortly before midnight on April 15, 1952, the defendant and one Willard Cook left Marshall in Cooks automobile on an all-night trip which ended the following noon at the defendants home in Minneota. On this trip they stopped at Wilno, Tyler, Russell, Arco, Ivanhoe, Hendricks, and Canby, Minnesota, and at Estelline and Clear Lake, South Dakota. In several of these villages buildings were admittedly burglarized by Cook, and it is the claim of the state that the defendant aided and abetted Cook in committing the burglaries.
